Christina never had anything to prove to anyone. Her talent all along spoke for itself. I found it ridiculous and absurd that the media in the past always referred to her as being in Britney Spears shadow. It pissed me off. Britney was the more successful of the two in the past and has more record sales. Christina had to like change her image during the "Stripped" era to move away from her bubble gum squeaky clean pop image to the more raw and real Christina Aguilera to get out from under Britneys shadow. That album made people see the real Christina and the real and amazing talent that she was all along not the other pop star who was following in Britneys shadow. In a few more years Christina will surpass Britney in record sales. Britneys record sales have declined over the past 4 or 5 years. Christina will be around for a long time to come. Her amazing voice and versatility will keep her around for years. Britney is a train wreck that has crashed and burned. Christina is awesome.

For some crazy reason people always compare Christina with the knucklehead Britney, which is absurd.
Christina has made it, truly made it. She didn't fall to pieces and do stupid things once she had a bit of fame and money. Her voice is unbelievable...
