Just let it go. Reacting or commenting or even acknowledging their comments is stooping to their level. It seems there are two extremes here - really nice and not. Sometimes no matter what you do, the trolls come out and attack. Let them do what they will...it'll all come back to bite them in the @ss eventually. :-)

If you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen - this is a question and answer forum if you ask the type of questions that get you called names or answer in a manner that warrants its part of being involved.
The people that call you names are doing so under the guise of anonimity - its harmless and just people sounding off just dont give them the best answer.
And yes it has happened to me and I actually thought it was really funny.

Usually I just let it go but recently I lashed out pretty badly. I crafted it to miss the sensor and it posted. I left it up for a few minutes so most could see it then withdrew the question avoiding a violation. I'll admit it was bad but it was worth it.

First of all isn't 'taking it' and 'letting it go' the same thing?
Secondly, it's not like I can ask them to step outside and settle it, so a normal rational adult will just forget about it.
