Usually in my experience this is a folded beer mat, but I'm sure it has a proper name.

Thanks for answers so far, but this does have a proper name, I saw it on that "true or bluff" programme years ago, just can't remember it. Incidentally, just turning the table seems to stop the wobble in most cases.

Its a shim... or you can get the adjustable feet.

If the table is on casters you would put a thin piece of "shim stock" between the caster and the leg (bolt-on caster) or put a spacer washer in to keep the caster from going in the receiving hole as far.

The little round flat things that you put under furniture I believe are called casters, and that should work under table legs too.

That is called a "Shim" which can be cut at an angle if required to stop your Wobble!!
