not that I have ever heard of there is maderma for stretch marks but have heard mixed feeling and outcomes, I have always used palmers cocobutter and mine aren't gone but they are not noticed by anybody but me. you can always have plastic surgery to get rid of them but that can be very costly

First just let me say, I agree with Toni. The Crow Tribe Awakkule is an a**. How rude and ignorant. Stretch marks aren't always caused by gaining weight...skinny people can have stretch marks too. Anyway...the key to using stuff like Palmers, which does work, is consistency. Use it as directed, and everyday...your stretch marks will fade. Don't give you though after a week or so...it'll take a least a month, but just keep using it and you'll be surprised at the results!

Bio-oil is a really good product not only to help lighten your stretch marks but it makes your skin feel really nice too. I had stretch marks from an early age, although really fit and healthy, and of course got covered during pregnancy! They really will fade a huge amount over time, and I bet the only person that is bothered by them is you. Don't worry, most people have them, wether you're overwieght or not. Even skinny famous movie stars. Learn to ignore them and worry about what goes into your body not what it looks like.

You can't get rid of stretch marks without surgery. However, you can use coco butter lotion to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Stretch marks will fade over time but you are never rid of them.

I think the other suggestions so far have been very good... All bar ONE!! (unfortunately the only way to completely get rid of stretchmarks would be surgery, like the others have said)There are lots of products to reduce the appearance of stretchmarks. They inprove the condition of the skin around the stretchmarks and so makes them look less prominent.
There is a product called Bio Oil, which worked best for me, (and for me,exercise was important as mine were mostly from pregnancy) although it is quite expensive at £8.99 a bottle! I think you just have to find the product that works best for you, and like someone already said, consistency!
Good luck!

just goes to show how ignorant some people are. Even in this day and age you would think that Common sense is somewhat Common.... obviously not. STRETCH MARKS CAN ALSO BE CAUSED BY PREGNANCY which the last time I checked was definately not caused by eating too much. What a wombat!!!!

Once there they wil never go away but they do fade with time. You can use some of the creams that make them look less noticible, Avon has a good one that doesn't cost the earth, it is more a case of moisturising as they look worse when your skin dries up. Some of the moisturising creams with a mild tanning agent can also help them look less noticible, but I am afraid you are stuck with them.

I lost 100lbs at 38 years old with physical activity (the only thing that really works) and mine almost totally disappeared. Ive heard zinc is supposed to help also. One of the toughest things to get rid of esp with age. Dermatologist or laser maybe.
