I used to be a house keeper, and we had to fold them so they looked like all other sheets- not one bump! So this is what we would do (I find it very fun, so I hope I can explain it well.)
You will need a flat surface to lat out the sheet, like a table or bed.
First take the sheet INSIDE OUT and hold it so that the long sides of the sheet are horizontal and the short sides are vertical.
second: put both your hands into the pocket like part of the fitted sheet. so that it is still inside out and still has the long sides horizontal.
Third: make you fingers into gun like shapes, holding them with the pointer finger and index finger out inside the pockets.
Fourth: This part is called “Shooting the Gun” and this is where it is hard to explain. so I’ll do my best. Take your right “gun” and point your finger tips together with your left ‘gun’. let the fitted sheet ends fold over the left ‘gun’, so that your right ‘gun’ is fully exposed and the left gun is now doubly covered. (don’t be discouraged, it’s a bit tricky at first, but after practicing that a few times it happens VERY fast and people will wonder how you did it!)
Fifth: Take your left ‘gun’ out and replace it with your right ‘Gun’ taking your left ‘gun’ and putting it into the fold between the other side. (sometimes you have a sheet that will not just slide into place so you have to set it down to get both sides to have a pocket.)
sixth: Once you have both ‘guns’ in their ‘holsters’ ( I know it’s silly, but it makes it easy to remember) repeat the Forth step buy ‘shooting’ your right ‘Gun’ into your your left.
Seventh: now you have a sheet that is a bit long and bumpy on one edge. this is where you nee a table or bed. (note that because it was inside out before, your “shooting” has made is right side out again.) put the sheet down on the surface you have chosen. Set it out so that the long end faces you and the wall, and the short ends are at your sides. keep it as flat as possible to help it look nice when you are done.
Eighth: take the top of the sheet (the long side that is facing away from you or towards the wall as i said before) and fold it in a bit, about less then a third of the the way towards you. Stop and smooth it out so you don’t have many bumps. (that is if you want to be a bit crazy about it- I had to, but you don’t)
Ninth: now take the side that is still a bit bumpy (the one with the fitted sheet parts under it, and fold it in about a third of the way also. (smooth out if desired)
Tenth: Now you have a rectangle that is perfect for folding over once or twice. once you are done it should look like any other sheet (unless you make it a bit bumpy, witch in the long run can be helpful so you don’t have to rip apart all of your folds to see what sheet you need.
I hope that was helpful. I know it is long but it goes very very quick when you get the hang of it all, sorry is was sort of dorky with all the cowboy like references. have fun!

Folding fitted sheets is a challenge at best.
What I do is hold one corner, then feel down the top edge of the sheet to the next corner and pull that up over the first one. Then feel down the top edge of THAT forner for the next corner and pull that up. I sometimes have to straighten the sheets a bit at that point. Then I will bring up the last corner, straighten the folded areas, then proceed to finish folding.

Two people, each gets an end. You hold the sheet with the top towards the floor. take the corner in your left hand and put it inside the corner in your right hand. Take the excess at the end and flip it towards the inside to square it off. Now finish folding like a flat sheet...no problem :)

first fold it in half so that the rounded edges (i.e. the fitted corners) of both side meet. then fold again, so that the sheet is now in quarters and all 4 rounded corners meet. fold again making sure that the pointed corner meet with the other pointed corner - all the rounded corners would be sitting beneath the pointed corner of the other side. fold again so that 2 pointed corner sets that met in the last fold meet the 3rd pointed corner that didn't meet the rounded corner. the rounded corners would be sitting neatly inside so that when you look at the sheet, you should see a neat 4 corner square!

fold the sheet longways tuck the rounded parts into each other on both ends. this should make it more square and easier to fold normally.
