You should be OK if it is just one of them. It's when they gang up together that it can be iffy. I remember a group of French "Transats de Plage" causing havoc in Cannes a few years ago. My "niece" Fiona had just settled on her towel and I was putting Ambre Solaire on her back when from around a sand dune a group of them suddenly appeared. Fiona was terrified and was just about to grab the top of her bikini and do a runner when the Gendarmes arrived and beat the deckchairs away. It was a close run thing. Mind you they do these things so much better on the Riviera - it would have been horrific if we had been in Blackpool (wherever that is)!

No, but my husband was attacked by on of those folding camping chairs - he was drunk at the time and it folded in around him. He couldn't get out. Funniest damn think I've ever seen.

Not a deck chair.
But once the desk chair decided to flip on me. Tossed me on that floor and jumped on top of me. You'd've thought that thang was possessed.
