potato-potatoes, photo photes or photos??

People answer to casually without putting much thought into it
i honestly do not know.

it is a very good question...
I suggest you dont use photo which not a real word but rather a short form and go instead for photograph - photographs :) easy

PHOTOS!! POTATOES!! TOMATOES!! Get a good grammar book and learn about the idiosyncrasies of spelling in English. Words ending in "O" have several rules for forming the plurals. Good Luck!!

As the above man said. The true word is actually PHOTOGRAPH.
PHOTOS is one of our shortened, and commonly acceptable word's. If you're writing in a proffesional position, stick to photographs, however, you can use Photos most anywhere.
