Physically no.
Emotionally/Mentality yes.

Couldn't tell you which one was worse.

unfortunately, yes, since am a paramedic. Of all the runs I have been on, the one yesterday was by far the worse. It is hard to face when 8 children die at one time and you are having to dig them out of rubble.

I am in the health field I have sat with someone dying so they did not have to leave this earth with no one there. Not that I watched them I stayed with them. Working in a nursing home alot of people dont have loved ones around. Alot of times the folks like myself that care for them become there loved ones. As I have always said I have alot of friends in heaven

yes too many ppl

and i had to make the choice to pull the plug on nan

working in the vol fire dept and as a nurse i have seen too much death

but i would rather be there with someone then know they died alone

I was there when my grandmother died in 1994. She had suffered her second stroke in 9 months and was in a coma. She was never going to recover, so they took her off life support. It was really sad because she was my last living grandparent.

Yes...actually I have....My Grandpa....he had cancer....& had a tumor in his brain....one day it burst when he sneezed & there was nothing they could do for him...he was put into Hospice...& slowly bled internally....I was at his bedside...along with a few other family members....I didnt want to "watch" him die....but we held onto his hands & talked to him until he was gone...

yes, it's not pleasant but it is comforting that they did not die without someone who cared about them in life at their side.
