It depends on the music. I tend to listen to my music a little loudly on my CD player when I want to really absorb the song. But there is some music, like instrumental or holiday music that I prefer to listen to softly, I don't care for the vehicles that go by the house that sound like cannibals/natives are approaching with the heavy drumbeats. But, too each his own.

I'm a product of the 60's and I now wear hearing aids in both ears...every thing in moderation or you too can have implements sticking in your ears or behind the ears like mine. Just some motherly advice.
