Probably, but the fact that it has happened at all shows how low down the list of priorities the CUSTOMER is for Messrs Branson and Murdoch. Ludicrous posturing by these two dysfunctional rich men - whilst we the people who have been foolish enough to put them where they are have received nothing in the way of thanks from them. They treat us with contempt.

probably not - Virgin know that the channels that they have lost make up less than 2% of all british figures (check out the BARB viewing figures website). All that will happen is that next time the rights to '24' and 'lost' come up, Virgin will buy those (or a portion of them) and that will take people off SKY.
Virgins new channel 'Choice?' has just bought the rights to the first three series of Lost so thats a move in the right direction. The biggest losers will be SKY customers when next year comes around and SKY have to buy Living Tv, UK Style etc etc off Virgin again, and then Branson holds all the cards - Sky will either have to increase package prices or drop nearly 15 channels!!!

I wish they would before 11pm tonight because Im going to miss Nip/tuck and Lost tomorrow. Its not fair. They should have given us six months warning or something. I mean they just turned it off!
