I ain't got a damn clue! I started looking for an official answer when you first posted. After 7 hours or so I'm done. I know more about the stranglers than i thought possible. but i don't know what the hell or who the hell Rodney is........ I just hope he's happy.

Rodney = boy's name, often associated with "upper class" families. That would be the sort of boy in pursuit of the aforementioned "Duchess". Probably used derogatorily, in the same way the Duchess would talk about "Traceys and Sharons" (no offence intended to any Traceys and Sharons reading this!)
