Why does it result in the production of a larger volume of urine than when glucose is not present.

being a diabetic, im pretty familar with this b/c its happened to me. from what the docs explained its pretty basic - urinating helps the body push the high level of glucose out of the body, its like its own defense mechanism to get rid of the high glucose levels.

Glucose is present in sugar and sugary substance easily liquefy. therefore we urine more .

Your body is drawing fluid from your body to dilute sugar in the blood. Drink more water and cut down on Carbs.- white sugar, rice, potatoes, bread.. this should help
