No, because, see, the speed of light is the fastest thing we can measure. But darkness is there before the light arrives, so the dark must be faster.

perhaps if you considered darkness as a constant rather than quantifying it; and then subtracted the speed of light? It would probably be half the speed of light depending on the rate of speed of light. I'm not sure how you'd go about setting up an control that would be applicable to ALL darkness in general though. Depending on your light your darkness would have many different variables- probably to many to count. So, No I don't think it's possible.

So the speed that mild "leaves" the stated area often is the speed of darkness; meaning the speed of darkness often is the speed of sunshine, about 3.00 × 108 m/s. a similar reasoning is behind the truth "there is no 'chilly,' merely the absence of warm temperature." considering no longer something with mass can go back and forth on the speed of sunshine, then this is logical that mass can't go back and forth on the speed of darkness both.

we cannot measure the speed of darkness directly
but if the fact is provided that darkness is spreading on a surface(2D) or space(3d) then there is way:
darkness in this case can be described as absence of light......hope you can understand
now to spread darkness one has to move a opaque object through the path of light the speed of the object .

scince there is also another point of view the speed of darkness is equal to the speed of light
for example when you switch of a bulb the light disappears then speed of darkness is 299,792,458 m/sec.

Equal and opposite to the speed of light you would think...but you'd be wrong ! Light is energy that once created, takes time to dissapate, so darkness is slower than light.

No .. darkness means no light.. and please .. How can you measure a speed of thing that does not exist.... there is no light means darkness.
