WWI ended in an armistice. German troops were still in France when the Armistice was signed and how the Great Germany war machine was defeated was a mystery to most Germans. The Germans felt a huge since of betrayal to there political leaders, When the effects of the Treaty of Versailles, combined with the world depression, started to sink in, this impression of betrayal became acute.

At the same time a number of books became popular in which the depression and the German defeat was the result of a secret conspiracy of wealthy Jews. The theory was that the a secret society of wealthy Jews existed and had orchestrated the great depression, the overthrow of the German Kaiser, WW1, had infiltrated key leadership positions in, banking, industry, medicine, education, and politics, in order to control the world.

Such books and theories as those portrayed in Dolchstosslegende, Blut und Boden, Germanenorden, from a biological reading of Friedrich Nietzsche's thoughts on "breeding upwards" toward the goal of an Übermensch (Superhuman).

Due to the belief that the Jews would one day return to Israel, the idea fostered that the Jews had no allegiance to Germany and were simple "bleeding Germany dry". The Jews became the scapegoat of the Nazi party, along with all the other non-German influences.

It is believed that Hitlers hatred of the Jews was shaped by his experience in Austria as a struggling painter.

the moron thought that all jews were imperialistic aristocrats who are intent on controlling the world, incliding germany. There was a document of the "Elders of Zion" which outlined world takeover by jews.He was a very superficial guy, because assuming that even if the document was true, why would all the jews have to pay the price. It's like a group of Catholic christians have a convention and come up with a secret agreement to take over the world. Would it be ok to kill ALL christians in the world for it? so the rest of the innocent jews paid the price and the real rich culprits got away maybe?

I believe the reason Hitler hated the Jews was because they were easy to blame.
He needed a reason to explain why Germany had done so poor and why the people should rally behind him. The Jews were easy to blame for him. There was a vast population of Jewish people in Germany. They owned most of the businesses in Germany. They also took up a lot of the few jobs Germany had to offer at that time. The Jewish community took up a substantial portion of Germany. To help him sway the people of Germany, Hitler might have concluded that the reason the economy was doing poorly was because the Jews owned most of the businesses in Germany. It has also been said Hitler didn't like the jews because when his mother died, her doctor was a jew and I think maybe he felt like it was their fault for his mother's death.

There are lots of reasons: his mother's doctor was a jew and when she died Hitler blamed the doctor for his mother's death, he believed that it was the Jew's fault that Germany didn't win the first World War and also because he believed that they were an inferior race. People had been anti-semitic for years before Hitler, he just brought out the hate against them again.

He saw it as ethnic cleansing. He believed in a true German nation, that should consist purely of people with anglo germanic heritage. The Jewish people had immigrated into the area centuries before, but he wanted them out. He believed that the aryans were superior - he even had scientists that experimented with genetics. There were even some people that "looked Jewish" were rounded up and sent to the camps. The term that was used between Hitler and his immediate subordinates was "The Final Resolution". Hitler even had propaganda films made that correlated the migration of Jews into Erope to the spread of rats - I've seen these films in college classes, and its shocking that anyone would ever take them seriously - they were so outrageous. Hope this helps!

Europe at the turn of the century had a wave of nationalist ideals go through almost every nation. The nationalist views made it so that people had strong pride in their own nations, and because the Jews seperated themselves into their own communities; they were seen as being unpatriotic and unloyal to the state. Hitler was not the only one who hated the Jews, almost all nations hated the jews. They had their own foods, their own language, they only married within their community; and all of these things made people weary of them. The Russians actually started making them live in their own cities that were often raided and attacked because they were so hated. France had a historic trial of a military general who was Jewish, they humiliated him and tried him for things he had not done (the Dreyfus Case). It was not just Hitler, it was everyone who had gone to ultra-nationalism who wanted the Jews dead.

Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews for each little thing that become incorrect with Germany after international warfare a million. most of the Banks and agencies were managed via Jews. even as he got here to skill he took those jobs from them and so gave a touch wealth and skill decrease back to Germany, in different words Hitler and Nazis.

The Jews were an easy target for Hitler to lay blame for the failures of his government and to draw attention away from an examination by the thugs who performed for him. They were an easy target because they had no homeland themselves and really were never welcomed anywhere in Europe. Disorganized and without leadership, Jews became easy prey for the maniac Hitler.

Hitler incited nationalistic tendencies in Germany during a time of extreme economic depression. Many natural born Germans saw their homeland being run by jews. Most of the businesses were owned by jews, most of the doctors, scientists, professionals, etc. were jews. Most of the dirty hard work was done by native Germans.
This led to a growing resentment about how a native German could not get a fair shake in their own homeland, because the jews ran everything.
Hitler played up on this hate during his speeches.

Anti-semitism at the time was perfectly normal.
Many countries (including those that later went to war with him) thought he was brilliant early on.
The jews controlled most of the largest money making industries in Germany between WWI and WWII.
They were an easy target.
