If you think you have upset one of your friends when sending them a text, what would you do about it?

I sent my friend a text recently and although I got a response, it seemed very curt and not like normal texts I receive from them.

Do you think its a good idea to text and see if I upset them? Could this do more harm than good if they werent upset in the first place?

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, dont know what to do!!!

try calling your friend...or speak to them in person....
and ask them why their text was very short.....
if you upset them..then apologize...

Send another text to ask. Even your friend was not upset in the first place, he / she will be glad that you care about how he / she feels & showing concern.

Send another text. The only way to know for sure is to ask.

pick up the phone and call - you will hear if they are upset by it (dont be paranoid- texts are always curt and taken the wrong way)

If you are worried that it upset them then the only way to find out is to ask them . or you will keep going on thinking about it . its best to ask and make sure then not to ask and let it keep bugging you . best of luck to you ....

Instead of wondering what to put in a text
why the hell can't you just ring the person.
You will soon know if you have offended them.

txt bak saying ' was it something i said last time that upset you? if so, it wasnt meant that way, so im sorry' then wait for a reply, or better still, ring them, its far easier to relay feelings verbally
