ive gotta write this english narrative and i cant think of a really good basis
so does anyone have any ideas for an english narrative, not too long mind you

If you have a topic, you could write what you know in a simple paper then rearrange and modify the whole thing.
The basic thing is that what you like and something very pleasing to the teacher. Do not write anything that is related to bad words.
This narrative is just a way for you to let your creativeness in writing.
Don't put pressure on it, just be creative it in.

In my opinion, never write something that you know is very common as many people may be writing about the same thing.
I do have an idea but I'm not sure whether you'll think it's fine:
There's a rather old lady pushing a cart of fruits to the supermarket on a rainy day. She passes by a school where there were a lot of kids running about and being rather rowdy and other business men and women about. She was annoyed with the kids but continued on without stopping. Just then when she wasn't noticing much, a truck was headed for her but stopped in time, but her cart of fruits toppled over. The bunch of kids rushed towards her and the lady started criticizing the kids in her mind about how they would steal her fruits. In the end, the kids were the one who helped her retrieve her fruits and the busy business men and women also lent a helping hand.
Hope it doesn't seem to lengthy.

you could do a personal narrative and write about something that happened to you or something you wittnessed. those are probably the funnest english papers.

why not base it on everyday life: the simpler the better
