I am looking to move about 3-4 hours away from columbus ohio, is there a website that will show me a radius so it will be easier to look....or does anyone know of places within the limit?

What an interesting question!
Unfortunately, I know of no site that gives a radius view of a city.
That's not to say there isn't one though!

This is a map of Columbus and surrounding cities, you can zoom out even further. Also, use your cursor to move in any direction:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&address=&city=Columbus&state=OH
Use this site also for mileage and directions between Columbus and other cities, just enter the details.

Using your 3-4 hour stipulation, it puts you out of Ohio altogether (unless you're a very slow driver).
~ Pittsburgh in Pa will take you just over three hours to drive.
And it is a very pretty area of Pennsylvania too.
~ Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, IN will both take just on three hours to drive.
~ Though only two hours away I must put in a plug for Wheeling, WV. It is one of my favourite US cities!
~ Charleston, WV is a three hour run.
~ Louisville, KY is about 3 1/2 hours out from Columbus.
~ Detroit, MI is also about 3 1/2 hours away

Actually, you are really spoilt for choice of cities and states.
These are just some of the bigger cities.
There are many smaller towns in pretty spots all around Ohio.

Toledo, 2 hours away. Michigan, 21/2 hours. Indiana, Kentucky, Cleveland area, under 2 hours. Hope this helps.

try mapquest.com..use their driving directions you can just fill in city and state and it works just fine.

I live around Cleveland. Me and my husband are also looking to find a starter home. As for my area, shaker hts, university heights, cleveland heights, they are cleveland suburbs very multi-cultural, middle class to upper class neighborhoods and you can find some places at very decent prices. Parma, Strongsville, and North Royalton are nice but kinda whitewashed and dull. If your looking to go more country ...medina, lorain, and elyria are nice too.
