my periods were due on 21st of feb, i had an intercourse on 2nd & 9th of Feb, this is 3rd march n still i'm not down. n still my urine test is negative. could anyone plz tell me that wen d hormones started coming in urine from blood. n wen we can conform the preg by urine test. or which blood test we use to conform it, plz gimme the name. i need a sincere help frm any gynec or experienced person.

i also went to a dr. on 27th feb.. she went for d same urine test which results negative, did my body checkup(not internal) n told me that now there is no visible symptoms. i dnt hav morning sickness also. bt usually my periodic cycle is very much accurate. so im confused now, that im preg or not, if yes why there are no signs, if no when i can go for my pregnency (urine) test again.

A urine test can pick up hormones from as early as just before your period was due.
If you're getting a negative now, it's possibly a false negative, or there are other medical possibilities for your late period.
Stress, low weight, and a host of medical conditions can cause this, so if you can, you should go to a doctor to get checked out

If you are still getting a negative pregancy test this far after your period is due, you are probably not pregnant.
Generally, your period will start 14 days after you ovulate, and if you had intercourse up to 48 hours on either side of ovulation you could be pregnant. It has been a while since I took a pregnancy test, but it used to be that the hormone that is tested for could be detected the day your period was supposed to start. Late periods can be caused by many reasons, most commonly stress.

Well nothing is a sure thing. Some people say you can take the test after two weeks...and the 9th sounds like a likely time to get pregnant....but it's only guesswork.
Time will tell....just wait a little longer....being anxious can even cause a change in your cycle.

pregnancy test usually say they can detect the pregnant hormone from the first day of a missed period. but Ive know people to be pregnant for about 6 weeks before a test showed positive.
your doctor will give you the best advise

sounds like u are not pregnant. i had this happen to me a few months ago anf after 3 weeks my period came, stress can delay ur period
