My partner and I have been struggling for sometime to find a rental in mandurah WA, we recently were accepted for a place within 10 mins of applying, when we viewed the property I knew I had seen it somewhere before,I have just been told it was the scene of a horrific murder of an 87yr old women. im expecting my first child in 1 month and am desperate for housing, so I will have to take it, does anyone have any advice on what I should do?

Sounds like you need the house, so consider this: get a priest
or minister to come in and bless the house. Or as a Catholic church for some Holy Water (don't care if you are Catholic or not)
to sprinkle in every room. Maybe get a small cross to put in each room. THEN stop thinking about it-the house has been blessed and is ready to go. Just make as many happy memories as you can!!

Ask yourself would you be comfortable in a house alone knowing what has happended there? Personally there is no way on this earth that I would live there.
You could move in and keep looking for something else. Once you're in there you might feel fine about it.

I Suggest you not to go there because if you change to that house even if there is no problem your mind might distract and always you might think about it so its better not to go

Prevention is better than cure

OR

if you are strong minded person who doesnt care about this then you can take chance but

never make your kid as an example for this ---

IF you didn't know about the crime it wouldn't mean anything,so just make it a talkable topic and don't try to Bury it(ha ha) sorry,if it's a decent place to live and affordable it would be a shame to give up,as time goes on you won't even think about it that much.

what exactly happened in the murder house? i would say that you should just rent it. Just think about it, every house has a murder in it without anyone knowing unless that is a recently build house though. Hmm....

take the house if it is decent! a murder can happen in any house any where. just because you were in the SAME house as a murder doesnt mean your any more likley to have the same happen to you. the most you might have is a good conversation starter when chatting with people.

I don't think I could sleep comfortably knowing some poor old lady died there. Find another place if you can. Best of luck to you and your family.
