Just be honest with them. You won't hurt any ones feelings. They will understand. Baseball is not for everyone and they will respect you for telling the truth. It's okay, there are some sports that I do not care for and I tell people up front how I feel. Tell them as soon as you can and get it over with. Everything will be fine.

Join another sport you like, and give that as the reason,
or
Join a group or club that you like, and say it is taking up your time,
or
Say you need more time for school and homework.

act like you are sick...asthma...something more.
or purposely hurt your arm, ankles or other part of your body that you need to play.
go to the doctor
they will run tests.
slip the doctor some money
tell him that you want him/her to tell your parents you cant play baseball...

Just simply tell your folks that you have lost interest. That without the interest in the game, you cannot perform whole heartedly.
