Tony Hawks, project 8,PS2, help needed please?

I need help getting out the fun park, I have completed amatuer gaps, and all the others apart from The fun park tour & Nail the tricks, if anyone could help me on how to nail tricks easier i would really appreciate it, thanks in advance

And when i try the "nail the trick" I always seem 2 fall(in mid air/cant land) i fall no matter what i do .

to do the Nail the Trick easier push the stick in one direction, hold it ther, and when the board is face up let go.
