For me it was an album of shaman chanting, it was too bizarre, just spooky.

For the music either the Faust Tapes by Faust
or White Noise..by White Noise. both early seventies.....Try listening to them on LSD...any early seventies avant garde electropop...Fripp and Eno Can......80s band einsturm neubaten

For the lyrics....Frank Zappa amd the Mothers....any album there are close to 50 + about 1000 bootlegs to choose from...
Being woken up an 7 every morning in Tunisia by the nearby mosque..chants and wails.....that was the most disturbing....

A band called Throbbing Gristle. I wouldn't know where to begin how to describe them. Kind of hypnotic sound effects & noise. Oddly soothing, though. One of their records is called Greatest Hits: Entertainment Through Pain.
