Yes. There will be a total lunar eclipse today. At about 1.50 am the moon will enter the penumbral shadow of the earth. At about 3.02 am the moon will touch the umbral shadow. The totality will begin at 4.16 am and the central eclipse will be at 4.51 am. Totality will end at 5.28 am.
Moon will leave the dark shadow of the earth at 6.41 am and will come out of the penumbral shadow at 7.53am. But actually that wont be visible because the moon will set at 7.03 am.
This sight will be visible again on August 28.
And then it wont be seen again before the year 2018.
The colour of the moon will be reddish brown.

You might think this is too much but its worth to know all this.

So I heard on cnn but not a sure. I think its tommorrow. The moon is supposed to turn redish brown due to the shadow of the earth blocking the sun. I saw it before and it was wicked! get out the broom stick and black hat for this one.
