if you can sleep, but you cant get yourself to go to bed?? Like if I were to lay down, I'd sleep right away - no prob. But its 6am, and I havent even gone to bed yet... is this insomnia?

No..insomnia is when you get in the bed, and you can't sleep.

it seems like in your case its a matter of procrastination or a busy or stressful schedual. or perhaps too much caffienated drinks. try drinking decaf coffee and cafiene free sodas, and giving yourself a bedtime. your body needs a schedual to keep healthy and to make up its sleep-debt.
