Erm, you seem to be missing a lot more than the sky channels - what is the full list of channels that you actually recieve and ill tell you what your missing and how to sort it....

and the full craic with the sky business is - Sky renewed their deal with Virgins channels (Living, UK food, UK gold etc) before the takeover - then, when virgin wanted to renew their deal with Sky, Murdoch stuck the prices right up to more than double - so Virgin would have to increase their package prices to meet that cost (they are a business after all, amazingly, they cant employ 30000 people and just give stuff away - ) so they dropped them. But the four channels that have gone, make up less than 2% of british viewing figures (shame though cos I miss sky sports news too!!!)

The A* holes of sky have decided to up the price of showing those channels to virgin, it is not fair they doubled the price virgin would have had to pay before they took over,

rightly so virgin will not pay, so sky miss out on those customers, do sky really beleive that customers will choose sky just because of sky news and stuff. Bullies!!

As stated above Virgin, formerly NTL, will not pay Sky enough as the two are in competition. My advice is dump Virgin and get a satellite dish and you can then receive all the Channels you want to receive without problem and its cheaper too. cable TV is no good and is out of date because it is too limited. With satellite you can slso add extra dishes and receive channels from all over world..

If you just want sky News and Sky sports News then change to Freeview as you get them free that way.

I'm not with Virgin media but it was on the news the other day....something along the lines of Virgin owing Sky lots of money and they refused to pay it, so they had a load of channels taken off of them!!

I'm only really missing sky sports news, others I seldom watched. I'm glad someone has had the guts to stand up to SKY and as Bransten is a very astute business man,I reckon we'll get some other programmes as a suitable replacement
