My first question would be are you qualified? If not then you may want to explore the Part P or Wiring Maintenance courses available. Consider joining an Institution such as the IET or the IMechE so that you can get involved with local networks and make connections so when jobs become availale you can work on it. Contact the organisers, find out which company they are working with and apply there to work with the company and then request assignments which are related to the Olympics.
