I heard that they did. Or you have to condition yourself to fall asleep to them.
but i've also heard that they can weave into your dreams once you fall asleep, and right now my only audio book is one of Stephen Kings novels.. not a good idea haha.
I have a problem falling asleep, not too serious to be called insomnia but enough to make me sleep and dead the next day and crash in the afternoon, i've tried quite a few techniques but hardly any seem to work.
any ideas?

I have rediscovered guided meditations, relaxation, self hypnosis with NLP (Nuerolinguistic programming). I have just used a meditation CD designed to stop smoking and I am 4 days "clean" and have had very few cravings.
I have just bought another meditation CD from this ebay store and they have one for chatty minds that need sleep (also available in MP3 format for instant download for Australian$15)
I Love love love the concept of NLP and guided meditations and just chilling out in general.

Good luck.

Oh exercise might also be worth a try - 30 min walk a day should help you nod off at night.

I have insomnia as a symptom of my chronic fatuigue, listening to talk like poscasts and audiobooks helps me to be calm and not think about things that would usually keep me awake. I listen every night. The only problem for me is I wake up tangled in headphones, or with my ipod under me sticking into my back. I'm trying to find new ways to listen without disturbing my family with noise. if anyone has any ideas email me at bimboish@hotmail.com

If you wish to make people to accomplish something in once perhaps not to inform them what they want to do then you'll need a plan like Black Ops Hypnosis, a online program that you will think it is here https://tr.im/bi5aq and that will teach you how to make use of hypnosis without your partner know.

Black Ops Hypnosis it'll coach you on the hypnosis technique. With this specific approach you will have a way to hypnotize your self and others around you for the benefit.
