It is like you outstretched and upheld hand. The leaves and branches are your fingers, the trunk is your arm and the huge root system is the rest of your body.

Tree Trunk Blind

2016-10-14 11:08:53 · answer #2 · answered by aispuro 4 · 0 0

I think I would say that a tree has roots and a trunk similar to your feet (the roots) and your leg. Some trees have trunks that are very short and others a hundred times longer than your legs. Then I would take the blind person outside and place his hand on a tree trunk and the base of the tree. Next I would place his hand on the leaves of the tree. If this person had never seen, it would be very difficult to explain color.

A tree could not see but it has the will to live and bear flowers and fruits. It was made by God only to feel what's happening around it.
These characteristics should be imitated by a blind person. Although blind, he/she could still be a value to others. In fact a blind person has more senses for he/she can still smell, hear and taste which a tree could not.

A blind person need to feel (touch, smell, hear) the tree. Go together in front of a tree, and exercise the feelings.

depends on what kind of tree. Some are short and squaty with big bushy hair, some tall and statuesque, barreling up to the sky, some have silky leaves others like brittle paper, and some spikey. thier trunks can be as hard as metal or soft as styrofoam. roots that grow like placid snakes in thier search to find nutrients. should i go on....

Give them a small branch that looks like a tree, shape it if you have to and make them feel it.
