Highly unlikely I reckon. The percentage of customers who actually watch Sky's basic channels through cable represents such a small proportion of viewers.

Sky will be hoping that Telewest/Virgin viewers will miss the removed programmes so much that they will change to Sky. I would hang on for a bit and see what Richard produces, he won't want to lose subscribers.

this is just another case of dog eat dog world. as a telewest customer i would urge all sky subscribers to boycott sky, you alone can bring this company down and make the parasites grovel.you would probably also benefit from it.
