I got a printer MFC-640CW it got a paper jam and i removed the paper but not it won't work properly it keep jumping on and off and on the LCD screen it says Please wait..Standard..then it clicks off then on again and repeats the same message over and over again..what is wrong with this picture? help..

I tried all of your recomendations and it still keeps saying ..
*please wait..stardard*..then kicks off again..what else is there do do other than disect the dagone thing?

In printer jam you usually need to open the cover and close it in order to "reset" the jam detector.

Restart the system and run all printer performance tests.
If the problem is not solved, this may be due to a hadware problem. Have your printer checked.

turn the printer off for about 5-15 minurts and then back on and i should work
