I know that this fashion rule supposedly doesnt exist anymore, but I think that white shoes are tacky, particularly in fall and winter. They are just so bright and WHITE! With so many other choices out there, can't we just be rid of white shoes forever!??

because most of my clothing that is white is too light and not warm enough for winter. Although I do wear winter white (cream) a lot in velvet, and knits or just regular old white button oxfords. I just don't like white pants and white shoes in the winter because of the weather. white gets dirty very fast.

I wear white boxer shorts and white athletic socks all year.
