I know the feeling? Me and my hubby fight over who's going on first! (Not literally)
It is addictive. If I don't switch on I can keep myself busy.
But if I sit here on my own I look at my little screen up the
corner of the other room, and it beckons.......
Just don't switch on!!

If you like answering questions then try spending more time being helpful and patient and kind to the people you come in contact with during the day.
Or do some volunteer work. At least that way you're creating real relationships and making real differences in people's lives. Differences that you can actually see.
Maybe then you'll be too tired to answer.

You could try declaring a no-Internet week (or day) and see if you can make it the whole time. After that, it should be a piece of cake to cut back. Or you could set an egg timer when you get on the computer and when it dings, you're done. Good luck.

Do 5 press-ups for every question u answer, 10 if u feel the need to ask. This way, u'll keep fit nd the addiction should wear off. Good luck keeping to it.

Fit the mains plug to your pc with a timer.
Set the timer for, say, 30 minutes per evening.
Fit a padlocked box over the plug and socket.
Post the padlock keys to somebody who lives far, far away.
Or you could just switch the pc off and start dating each other again!

it fun right, and im sure you have been kind enough to help people here and im glad to hear that you are sitting with your wife.i mean most of the time you would get one on the net and the other moaning.
i think you can both find other interesting things to do.just decide you both want to do other things together,go out for the night or watch a film on tv.
good luck

i have no idea! I'm hooked and will be moving in with boyfriend in a month or two, I haven't told him about my addiction to yahoo answers and I'm not sure he will understand!
At least your wife is understanding and you can go cold turkey together!
