As sickeningly high as they are we may still only be receiving the watered down version.

The government reports around 50 murders a day and 3 or 4 times that many rapes. South Africa along with Iraq (a war zone) and Colombia, is one of the 3 most violent countries in the world.

There are huge discrepancies between figures released by the medical research council and and those by the government.

Large scale crime cover up for 2010 football/soccer world cup so as not to deter tourists?
Is this morally correct?

Moloi, your postings had hope - just like a lot of people before the new South Africa.

Moloi, your postings started with promise - like many peoples vision of a new South Africa, but alas what remains is all that there really was to begin with - a lot of hot air, insults and incompetency produced by unconstructive non-thinkers.
Come on, you can do better than that.

And they operate on this forum masquerading as schoolboys etc with links to their good news Tourist sites. Can you recall when they were in total denial about the crime in South Africa some 6-9 months ago and how they worked vigorously to get the crime site CESA taken off the Internet. Hell they boasted about their involvement in the affair, lauding complete idiots like Grindrod and others like Boshoff with his links into all kinds of despicable acts. After numerous attacks on Table Mountain ( more than 40 in December) on the Beaches,in Restaurants and Shopping Malls and on the Roads they have dissappeared except for one who reappears now and again with the usual crap and finger pointing. Morality? The one thing that Tourism South Africa has is no morality. They have no difficulty in trading Euros and Dollrs for blood and think that a bunch of flowers and a free meal absolves them of their responsibility. What goes around comes around and many of those in that Industry have a day of reckoning coming.

What crime our lazy fat assed goverment deny's that there is a problem. As a South African we ask why is the taxpayer having to fork out 90 000 000-00 to build a security wall around Thabo's meagre dwelling.

We as citizens are sick of the cover up by the goverment, catch a wake up pull your fingers out of your noses/bums and do the job you claim massive salaries for. I personally think 2010 should be withdrawn from SA until the govt wakes up and addresses the crime problem.

Not morally correct at all, and hopefully with the help of former South Africans living abroad you can start a campaign to end all sporting links and tourism to this country as Peter Hain did in the 70's "NO NORMAL SPORT OR TOURISM IN A ABNORMAL SOCIETY" this country can not help itself and needs pressure from outside NGO's before it's too late.

Dear God did someone say outside NGOs those people are lying liberal or commie scumbags usually irish who would have been nuns and priests at another time and be busy sexually assaulting children but they know they can't hide in those robes anymore the words out so they just try to **** up every thing they can. Of course this govt is a stinking shower of bastards lying scum but don't get me started or i will tell you what i really think off them

No, it's not morally correct, but it's a fact. This is typical Communist strategy - create a reality that you are comfortable living in, regardless of the truth.
It's basically a house of cards - the Soviet Union tried it for almost a century, over the corpses of millions of people, until reality caught up and their empire dissolved.

since when was the ANC ever honest with the public?

they have lied, cheated and stolen from us since the day they came into power.

I am not attacking individuals here, because leaders like Nelson Mandela cannot be classed under the same umbrella as the gravy train riding, fat cat, egocentric, b@stards that run the ANC.

They have lost control of the country, and are now trying to cover it up.

It's time for change...
