Do you believe shooting yourself in the head would cause an adverse dying experience, due to neurons being interrupted, severed and destroyed? Even if the mind is a seperate element from the brain, wouldn't such a traumatic severence cause a strange or extremely damaged journey into death? And also, what effects might other types of suicide have on the death experience. Answer in respect to both belief of the afterlife and without belief of it. And one more thing, do you know any sites or forums that discuss this topic? Please try and answer or give a thought on all of these questions, if possible.

Suicide is the worst thing that can happen to any individual. Not only the person who commits suicide suffers all the people around him also will undergo the trauma due to his / her death. The thoughts of suicide would come to any of us at some point of time but it is never precepitated. The best thing for people who suicidal is to talk about their problems with somebody with lot of discreetness and there is an organisation know as befrienders international and anybody can contact them and get relieved from the feeling of committing suicide.

According to most NDE accounts, the experiences of suicide victims tend to be truncated and muted a bit, but most of their data comes from sucides who have used drugs to attempt killing themselves, so its not certain.
