They say once you reach the space, the eternal silence and the dark atmosphere in the space leaves some kind of aloof in your mind. Once you come back earth , it is very likely that you suffer mental disorders and lesser life span.

Space journey takes heavy toll on your body which might reduce your life span. Mental disorders are unknown for astronauts but post-traumatic stress can be there.

No mental disorders from space travelers! Except if you are talking about "space abductions". Yes, in that case we have mental disorders!
