9/11. At home pregnant with second child and a 2 year old...not hearing from my husband who works on an air force base and was in total lock down (def con 4) for nearly 24 hours.
I felt helpless and so responsible for those little lives with me. I knew the world was changed and that my children would never really know the secure and safe world i did for a while.
All the little issues that we gripe about daily didn't matter that day...and really shouldn't now. People out there are willing to die themselves trying to kill Americans. Scary thought.

We additionally began formulating a plan to apply directional antennas to discover peoples cellular telephones (and subsequently the folk) interior the rubble. of direction, now all of us comprehend, there became not something left to discover. That hit abode because of the fact we spent the day attempting to help human beings call abode and say they have been all good. on the comparable time, we've been attempting to track down acquaintances and co-workers interior the section. i became on no account there, even yet it became between the few days in my existence the place i became a small piece to the puzzle, yet my contribution made a distinction interior the lives of hundreds...even though if it became purely so that they could make a cellular telephone call. nevertheless, on the tip of the day, there have been nevertheless hundreds lifeless and there became not something shall we do to help them no rely how troublesome we tried.

When I was 8 my parents decided 2 get a divorce and when my mum moved out she decided to move to canada (from australia) and said that she was taking me with her my dad apparently didnt care and said well if you take my daughter you dont get any share in the house, so apparently im a possession because he ended up choosing his house and money over me. I moved back to Australia with my mum and my step family 4 years ago and see my dad often and hopefully he will realise im not a possession but his daughter...

The assassination of JFK. I felt so bad for Jackie who had lost a baby (Patrick) only three months before and saw her husband die such a horrible death. She was left to raise two small children alone. She had money but it doesn't cure sorrow.
JFK's death and the conspiracy theory changed America forever.
