I would have to say Ben Folds, I think most people would recognise Neil Hannons name if it came up in conversation. I'm a bit out of touch these days, but I remember no-one else ever having heard of Ben Folds Five...

I would say Ben Folds.

I seen them live twice and he's filled the Manc Apollo both times, which prob accounts for more people than bought his last album over here.

Ben is a truly great piano player, but will never achieve the sucess in the UK his talent deserves, he's only troubled the top 40 few times with the 5.

Neil Hannon while is good as well achieved a good deal of success with the DC, so is he really underrated?

Ben Folds is the most brillian song-writer and musician today. In a world where pop bands come and go faster than you can say "one hit wonder" Ben Folds' music remains the most original, talented stuff out there.

well both are relatively unknown by the public at large, aren't they? but i think neil hannon doesn't always get the credit he deserves, he's amazing!!
