I ask questions I know all the time (then again, I am a teacher), but otherwise, not really. Most times, I believe in the goodness of people, and therefore my trust is cautiously given. It only takes a real bad first impression or some other bad act on the other person's part in order for me to no longer trust them.

sure, I don't trust anyone.
I suppose I have asked questions I already knew the answer to, not intentionally, but it has happened.
yeah, I can forgive. I guess most people lie at some point.
I don't give it freely. I accept them for whatever they say they are, but won't trust them with myself for a very long time.

TRUST is something that's hard to regain again once you've lost it. But for me, I should say that it depends on what kind of lie a person did. If it's that deep and complicated, I think it takes time for me to trust that person again. But if it's shallow, then just forgive and forget. That's the least you could do. If we don't, who will anyway?

I don't think you can ever regain the trust, especially in relationships. Once its gone its gone, and even if you do find some way to forgive you will always find yourself wondering whats going on when they don't answer their phone or they ain't on time, or ain't where they said they were going to be.

since i'm older, i trust no one which is very sad.
i preferred being young minded and trusting everyone because that was naiveté but with a gentler spirit.
After one lets people walk on them for awhile, it's time to get up and bite off their heads ...smile...yes i now have trust issues

I have had trust issues for a VERY long time...alot of it stemming from my childhood....then being with my EX Husband didnt help....I am slowly learning to trust people now...it isn't just in my relationships with men...it goes into my friendships too...I have a problem with trusting too much...then when I get burned...I give them one more chance....it usually takes me getting really hurt before I stop trusting....then after my EX..I didn't trust men AT ALL.....so for 3 yrs I stayed single....
I am now with my current BF...& for awhile...I was having trouble trusting him...I felt like since he has alot of female friends that I was going to heartbroken as he was out cheating on me....I have met MOST of his friends now...& MOST of them have men...so it is getting easier...he still has a few...online...that like to flirt with him...even though he tells them all about me & has pictures of me on his MySpace page....
I don't think he would cheat on me...but I am slowly learning to have faith in him....my friends on the other hand...I only have 4 that I would trust my life too....one I have known for over 20 yrs, one for 18 yrs, one for 16 yrs & one for 8 yrs. The rest of them...I am still kind of figuring out...

ive never trusted a person enought to tell them how i really feel, its getting better but i dont know if anyone will ever know who i am cause i just cant seem to trust ppl enough to just tell them who i am, i am to scared that when they find out who i really am they wont like me anymore so i just dont tell. its not like i lie to them i dont do that i just dont mention anything that would led to them asking about who i really am.
i know its bad and i want to change it but im to scared of rejection!!!!!

people change. your trust also change. sometimes your enemy becomes a friend. To trust someone depends on the situation and necessity. I easily trust and sometime it goes as it come.
