i would not put my life on hold, waiting for something that may never happen. she was obviously trying to escape something about her life. maybe responsibility. she may get tired of the older guy, and see she doesn't have too much in common with him, but i would not take that to the bank. we always hope our spouses would regret hurting us, but most of the time they don't, because they are selfish, and self serving, and not thinking of the hurt they caused another. she will come back only if things don't work out between her and the new guy. but eventually u will begin to get angry at her, and the grief will have moved in a different stage, and u may not want her back in time, so don't put your future on hold, waiting for an unfaithful women to return, because even if she leaves this guy, she could very well keep cheating on u for years.

Hah, what an idiot your wife is. What can a dude that is 22 years older do for her, besides give her hella money.

She'll come crawling back to you when this geezer kicks the bucket. And the good part is, you will have found yourself a young hottie to be with and she is no longer welcome.

Serves her right.

It is very sad that your wife left you for someone older.Something must have been missing in your marriage for her to leave you. If you are happy and she is happy, then there is very little chance that either of you will want to reunite in later years. As for the children, she must have agonised and carried out a very difficult decision and blocked herself completely to walk away. It is admirable on your part and it cannot be easy for you. You may as well look ahead and work out a better future for yourself and your children. There is always the right person out there for you. Good luck.

Well done you for looking after the children.

She may well regret it when the novelty has worn off.
Would you really want her back though?
Because if you did take her back, it would be very hard
to forgive her. Also if she came back, she could not leave
her children again. How awful would that be?

I have low opinion of woman that can leave their children.
So perhaps mine is not a very good answer.
Good Luck though and be strong.

Yep, I'd have to say she'll definitely regret leaving you and the children for some old dude, and if she's as trashy as it seems, she'll likely try and come back when either he can't get it up anymore, or if he moves on to someone even younger and hotter than she is! The real question is, would you welcome the tramp back? I'd say forget her and move on.

She'll probably regret it and eventually want to come back, but why would you ever trust her again. Don't you deserve better?

Only you can answer that question. The real question is, would you take her back?
