Is there hope for my grapefruit trees produce sweet juicy fruits? If so what fertilizer or formulation be used

firstly check your soil, if you cant, get someone who can test soil. is your soil acidy or alkaline,clay or sandy orloamy or all three do you use compost how much water does it get? what is planted around it? to my knowledge you cannot get sweet grapefruit however im my horticultural class this week we talked about sweeting soil with lime. and dolomite what else sweetens soil is organic matter. hope this helps might put this question to my teacher on monday see what he says. what are do you live in? email me.
