Men... Men have more muscle than women

Women have disproportionately stronger legs compared to their upper body. But, Since most men are bigger. Most men are also stronger in all muscles. Men excell at different sports than women. Just look at gymnastics.I think women have better control of their body compared to men though. That's why women can do those tricks on the slim walking beam and men can do the Iron Cross on the rings.

Do you mean in general or for the same sports? because many women in sports have stronger legs than regular men. If you compare the exact same sports, men have the stronger legs.

From what I've heard men have a stronger upper body while women have a stronger lower body. I'm sure its different for everyone though.

I don't know where exactly I have heard this from but women have a stronger lower half to accommodate pregnancy, something men don't have to deal with.

it depends on the individual .. if a man doesnt work out his legs, but a woman does - she is probably going to have stronger muscles ..
