why do people like Ralph Nader think the Consumer (King) needs someone to "advocate" for them?

People are perfectly capable of deciding where to spend their money without the likes of Nader (a self-styled "consumer advocate").

Ralph is a nut bar, he made his name on the seat belt issue , he just doesnt have the sence to know when enough is enough, our pruchasing power has always impacted the manufacture

in general most people are sheeple....meaning they follow but someone else has to start it. so someone like nader one time really believed in a cause fought for it. drew followers and then went on to the next thing

Obviously you don't get it. People can't decide for themselves. You see, they need someone like good ol' Uncle Ralph to tell them what they should do, see, and buy.
