I posted a question a few hours ago, but nobody answered.

I'd just like to know. I haven't had sex, but I've been fingered twice (he was a bit rough), and both times I bled... I know it wasn't my period because I just finished it a couple days ago. I know it's normal to bleed, but how common is the second time and are there a couple more times? Just wondering because I don't want to bleed next time. I've only ever been with him, so I do trust him. I'm 17. Thank you.

Hi. I'm sure your boyfriend has broken your hymen with his fingers. This is why you bled. All virgins have at thin layer of skin in their vaginas, but you probably already know this.
Perhaps your hymen didn't tear completely the first time? that's why I think you bled both times.

I bled a teeny bit the first time my boyfriend I had at the time tried to put his penis in. I was so tense and tight he couldn't get it in there. But the 2nd time, I was more relaxed and then he broke it and I bled and looked almost like a period but the bleeding only lasted a short time. (less than an hour). He was still gentle though, but it still hurt. Bleeding should not occur after the hymen has been completely torn. Like someone else said, if you continue to bleed then he's too rough. You can feel for yourself when he's too rough.

I also feel your boyfriend should be more careful, unless it totally turned you on and you let him. At any rate you both should still be careful.

If you do decide to have sex, make him wear a condom!! And it's likely that sex won't hurt as bad the first time since he's already 'broken you in'.

It all depends. I lost my virginity over 10 years ago. But every now and then my guy will be REALLY rough and I'll notice some bleeding. Sometimes he'll even rip me a little bit. Tell your guy to me more gentle. He's probably scratching you with his nails and that's causing the bleeding. When you have sex the first time, you'll probably bleed whether he's rough or not. But after that there shouldn't be anymore blood. Unless he's being ROUGH.

Listen to what the others said, it is YOUR body, YOUR rules, do not allow him to be rough with such a tender area (at least not unless you've become used to sex and decide that is what you like).

Ask him to be very gentle, and use lubricant (silicone-based it the best).

You may bleed a few more times after, depending on tightness of your vagina, how rough it is, etc.

Seriously, tell the guy to BE GENTLE. Fingers/hands are usually really rough compared to delicate vaginal skin. I don't think your partner would like it much if you gave him a handjob with fine sandpaper and he started bleeding....

Dont be afraid to tell him that it hurts or to stop being so rough. tell him you like it gentle and if you choose to have intercourse,.. you may bleed once more depending on if your hymen has torn all the way... a penis is thicker than fingers and will require more room for entry therfore you will be stretched a bit more than his fingers so you mightbleed a little bit more after that... but once your hymen is broken and heals..... it wont bleed again. He could be scratching your cervix or the interior or the vagina with his fingernails sex is more enjoyable if you BOTH are enjoying it... if it hurts tell him to stop and please you a different way ;o)

You may bleed if he is a bit too rough, once your hymen has actually broken you should not bleed again I think. Your hymen may not break until you have sex, or may have already broken as you have bled recently.

Depending on how rough he is with you, you may bleed again. It is completely natural, what is happening is that your hymen, a fold of mucous membrane partly closing the orifice of the vagina, is being perforated. Once that has been completely torn, you will most likely not bleed like that again.

it is only normal to bleed if he breaks your hymen, it should never bleed after that, if it does hes too rough.

Hi,

This bleeding is because of injury as you were not ready for this insertion. Pl. do not allow any one to be rough with your Virgina.
