I just learned that to place a money order, I have to buy a "money order" form from a bank or somewhere they sell it. I heard it was about a dollar? So, I want the money order to arrive to the recipient quick. Not desperately quick, like paying 10-20$ for fast shipping, but I want them to recieve it in about a couple of days.

So, I have some questions:

1. In what method do I send a money order? Do I put it in an envelope and mail it or will the bank do it for me?

2. What are my options as far as shipping my money order? How much will it be for the fastest?

3. How much will it (shipping) be for the fastest but the cheapest?

4. Are there any extra fees I should be concerned about? If so, please list them down.

Please, make your answers as clear and as simple as possible. I haven't done this before so I'm terribly confused. I also don't have a bank account, just incase going to a bank where I have an account at is a suggestion of yours.

I used to have to get money orders a lot. Pretty much any place with a mailing center will also have money orders. Walgreens, Longs, Rite-Aid, Western Union, those types of places. I used to pay $1 for most of the money orders. Banks charge MORE unless your a customer.
You will go into Walgreens (for instance) and tell them the amount of the money order (say $100). They will then ask you for $101 and will give you a check type of document. Put the persons address on it (that you're sending it to) and then put it in an envelope and mail it out.
You may want to go to UPS store and see whats the cheapest and fastest way to send it. Hope that helps. good luck.

Go to a currency exchange and it should cost you about a dollar..for the first hundred dollard you send. You put it in your own envelope like your mailing a bill. Postage is .37cents...Thats all...No extra charges....37cents thats it..its just paper.
