Something fairly easy, but not as easy as a shoebox guitar...

No percussion and it has to have different pitches, meaning I have to play a song on it.

Oh, when I say "orignal" I mean just something that not everyone in my class would have.

*Also - I was thinking of doing a metal xylophone thing, but after I thought of that idea this other girl told me she was doing that and told me to not do the same thing... it isn't going to be the same one but it is very simlar I think... should I do it anyway? Because it isn't like she can do anything about it, but I would still feel really bad... this is why I'm posting this question, if I get better ideas I will do that instead.

-Thank you

all right., what about giggles sound.
get 8 or 16 water glasses same kind, clear glass. thin glass.
measure the amount of water that is enough to full fill one glass.
then divide the amount of water in 8 or 16 portions, no one drop less, no one drop more.
in a board wide enough to put the glasses if 8 in 1 row, if 16 in two rows but in Sig sag. like this:

Then put in every glass every amount of water in this way if 8:
1/8, 1/4 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, 1 of the capacity on volume of each glass of water
if 16:
1/16/ 1/8/, 3/16, /1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16,3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/ 16 and 1 of the capacity on volume of each glass of water . then get some of those musical notes sheets with the notes in the same scales as the one just did.
with a metal rood, like a TV antenna or some thing like that(you might need 2) play the musical notes with the glasses as a piano, by example, or a "marimba", which it is the musical instrument that in México people uses to play "la bamba".
PRACTICE IT , YOU MIGHT BECOME A GREAT MUSICIAN
