"Mission In The Rain"
Words by Robert Hunter, music by Jerry Garcia
I turn and walk away
then I come round again
It looks as though tomorrow
I'll do very much the same
I must turn down your offer
but I'd like to ask a break
You know I'm ready to give everything
for anything I take
Someone called my name
You know, I turned around to see
It was midnight in the Mission
and the bells were not for me
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
Ten years ago I walked this street
my dreams were ridin tall
Tonight I would be thankful
Lord, for any dream at all
Some folks would be happy
just to have one dream come true
but everything you gather
is just more that you can lose
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
All the things I planned to do
I only did half way
Tomorrow will be Sunday
born of rainy Saturday
There's some satisfaction
in the San Francisco rain
No matter what comes down
the Mission always looks the same
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain

Hurt by Nine Inch Nails
Right Where it Belongs by Nine Inch Nails
Trust me, they're both great songs!
Also, Johnny Cash's cover of the song Hurt is also awesome.

Let me introduce you to a song when Silverchair were good. Suicidal Dream, works everytime for me. It starts:
I dream about how it's going to end
Approaching me quickly
Living a life of fear
I only want my mind to be clear
People making fun of me
for no reason but jelousy...
You should check it out. It's not really about anyone but the singer himself.

I don't know if they're that "depressing", persay, but Matthew Good Band's "Strange Days", Our Lady Peace's "4am", and some Sigur Ros songs make me feel a bit depressed sometimes.

you shuld listen to my chemical romance
it's alternative rock
i don't know if u would like it
but it's quite depressive
specially the ones from their first cd
'i brought you my bullets you brought me your love'
but i think that's too much rock
but you also have 'three cheers for sweet revenge'
or the last one 'the black parade'
you should listen the song 'to the end'
i love it...
i hope this helps u
XOXO

You've probably never heard of this band but Caedmon's Call's song "Center Aisle" is about a girl who committed suicide.
