Yes, I agree.
That is the very reason we have erasers on pencils!
Grandma always said "if people didn't make mistakes they wouldn't put erasers on pencils" Which ultimately led to the invention of the eraser on the pencil. Therefore that person spent time doing something.

That statement is just such a lot of flatulence that I can't believe it. Everybody does something in life, it is called living. mistakes are not useful, though we can learn from them and avoid similar mistakes in future, it's part of living.

It depends on the kinds of mistakes! Besides, when are u going to learn from your mistakes? Then if they are horrible you'd better abstain (that is do nothing)!

Depends highly on what specifically the mistakes were.
Mistakes such as rape, murder, smoking crack, etc. are far worse than doing nothing.
