Why does Angelina Jolie continue to adopt kids from other countries when there are plenty of needy orphans ...

here in America? Don't get me wrong, I think she's a great person for her huge involvement in humanitarian work. But I've never heard of any work she has done for the needy here in America.

the thing is, she adopted a black girl from africa. nobody wants a black girl from africa. if they adopt from africa, they want a boy. girls in africa are left behind there.

in cambodia, it is more of the same. everyone wants a little asian girl because they are so cute to americans. so she is adopted a boy.

i dont know the sex of the vietnamese there. but i know they have a sex trade and it would be nice if she adopted a girl.

maybe that is who she is. it does seem good to be true. maybe she just want to have lots of kids from different nations like an old goddess motherin the shoe.

also it is hard to adopt in the us than you think. thats why a lot of barren parent go to other countries and pay 20k 40k sometimes 100k just for a baby. the kids you adopt here are not infants or toddlers. very rare to see a toddler. and if you do see a very young child, there is often something wrong with it like a retardation or autism. so basically it is very tough. not everyone is able to take care of a challenged child. it is very very hard. i dont think shed be able to do that since she has so many other kids.

lots of people are in line for it in america. at least angelina jolie is giving some america people a chance to adopt children here.

we also have facilities in america which are pretty good. in romania they piled them 3 in a crib and sometimes they stick them in the basement with no touch no voice no stimulation. then they go to an asylum the rest of their lives. in other countries it is more of the same, or they are selt to sex slavery. or even killed because their paren ts had aids and no one wants anything to do with them.

orphans in the us dont have those probs. they do need love though and some kind of better reform.

dont take me wrong but orphans usually have a roof over there head being at an orphanidge shes getting children from 3rd world countried where there roofs arent so good where they arent supplied with enough food to make them survive where they cant get medical treatment where there life hangs on by a small thread thats why shes helping those kids and where ever she is adopting children from does it matter she wants a family of all mixed races i think shes doing a wonderful thing what shes doing is amazing

Probaly the same reason Mia Farrow did because they needed a loving safe home and she has been doing a lot of work in New Orleans with Brad,also she isnt the only celebrity with money and resources and I dont see to many of them helping the needy in America.Jennifer for example have you heard of her helping anyone in need and its not like she is short of money.

I absolutely agree with you about her humanitarianism, but I think she does it for 3 reasons, not necessarily in this order:

1. She had to have a baby with Brad, not only
to establish an indelible connection with him,
but to also silently "thumb her nose" at
Jennifer. I'll bet, however, she doesn't want
to run the risk of ruining her figure with another
pregnancy.

2. As long as she's adopting, publicity-wise, it's
more sensational and memorable to adopt
a baby from a third-world country, etc.
How many people would remember if she
adopted little Joey Schmo, pale and plain,
let's say from "Tiny Town, USA" ?

3. It's also a good way for her to fall back into
good graces with the segment of fans who
were angry with her breaking up Brad's and
Jennifer's marriage.

there arent a lot of people wanted to adopted from those country that is jolie's adopting.they r really needy compared to the americans coz there's a lot of people who's choosy in adopting.they dont like kids from the third country

cos she has the money to do so. I would adopt 10 kids from Belarus if i had the money. There are 30,000 kids homeless there. Most have sex from 7 years old to live.

the orphans here at least have a home(shelters etc.) food etc.
those kids dont even have food so i dont see why not. and besides its her personal choice to adopt kids from ever she wants.
