OK. I bought my first house at 25. I woke up on my 25th in my brand new house. My escrow closed the day before my B-day. Other than that I remember crying. I realized this was it. There was no other age to look forward to. As a child you look forward to turning 13 cuz your finally a teenager. Then it's 16 so you can taste the freedom a driver's license gives you. Then 18 so you can vote and buy cigarettes and be legal--whatever that means. I mean what were you before 18? Illegal? Anyway, then it's 21 so you can drink (legally) and then 25 comes and you realize you are now no longer in your early 20's. I cried and I have cried on every b-day since. It's like all down hill from there. You really have nothing else to look forward to as far as milestone b-days go. I guess I had a quarter life crisis. OK, I digress, I had just moved to Las Vegas a month before and was sad to leave so cal. Since then, (5 yrs) things have changed so much. I am such a different person. Different good and different bad. Sometimes I miss the person I used to be. Sometimes, I can't be live how naive and stupid I was. But I made good decisions. I'm in a good place.I have no regrets.
