I've just been given a Grundig Skybox but don't know why it's got a modem.Any help please?

sometimes you can press red for compettions etc and ordering pizza it will say going online on the television when you enter for these things or for sky games

so you can use the sky active, gaming and other pay2use services. so you can vote etc by using the red button.

so when you order a box office it can dial up and tell sky you have tuned into it so you must be charged.

one trick i was told was to order a skyboxoffice, and then unplug ur digibox from the line just b4 you tune into that channel, and sky wont charge you, if you say you didnt watch it.

so sky can keep tabs on what you've watched and charge you for the box office etc
